Ride Everyday Colleen's Way™ by JBR EQUESTRIAN, LLCColleen's Way

It's no surprise that I ended up designing equestrian clothing…

I was a horse-crazy young girl from Cleveland, Ohio, doing whatever I could to be near horses. Soon as my parents bought me my first mare, I was riding seriously. In no time, I was showing, riding both English and Western, and managing the Cleveland Shamrocks’s polo ponies in the summers. Then I heard of a school that trained riders to teach, ride and train horses - the famed Talland School of Equitation, located in Cirencester, England. I just had to attend this great school, and so I did!

The Talland School of Equitation’s riding program was intense and a lot of work. I learned it all there, from dressage, stadium and eventing, hunting to all that goes into running a yard and managing a farm and business. I even had the grand opportunity to hunt with the infamous Beaufort Hunt in the Cotswolds. In the end, I obtained an International Level 2 Instruction Certificate from the British Horse Society.

Upon returning to the States, I began managing and riding hunters and jumpers, as well as breaking racehorses.

At present, and for the last several years, I run my farm, JBR FARMS in New Mexico. It is there where I show my own horses in dressage and eventing, as well as run a lesson program that teaches riders to be competitive at local and national levels. I was heavily involved in the dressage community as well as USDF Region 5, and headed up the merger of what is now the New Mexico Dressage Association.

After 40 years of riding in clothes that were and were not very comfortable, I decided that there needed to be a comfortable, flattering and stylish riding pant, and so I invented Ride Everyday Colleen's Way™, the #1 fashion riding pant.

I look forward to working just as hard at my clothing line as I have my equestrian career. I’m very excited about producing garments that are made in the USA, all original in design and timeless too.
